Apple CarPlay® is a technology developed by Apple Inc. that allows users to connect their iPhone to the infotainment system of a compatible vehicle like the current Honda lineup. Once connected, users can access certain iPhone functions and apps directly from the car's dashboard display. This includes features like making phone calls, sending and receiving text messages, using navigation apps like Apple Maps or Google Maps, playing music from the iPhone or streaming services, and accessing Siri voice control. CarPlay is designed to provide a safer and more convenient way for drivers to interact with their iPhones while on the road, using voice commands and minimizing distractions.
Simply follow the prompts on the Honda CarPlay app and the corresponding instructions on your iPhone to enable CarPlay.
