2021 Honda HR-V: Great Things Come in Small Packages
What’s New for the 2021 HR-V?
The Honda SUV lineup is one built to accommodate the masses, and there’s something for everyone. With various builds and looks, we’re confident that you’ll find an SUV to suit your driving needs. Now, the new 2021 Honda HR-V is a subcompact SUV, which comes in handy for drivers in the Charlotte area who’d prefer the advantages of an SUV with the compact nature of a car. Great things can often come in small packages! You won’t want to miss some of these incredible features.
What to Expect
Hendrick Honda Charlotte customers can choose from five HR-V trim grades – LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, and Touring. Let’s dive into the specifics of what you can expect with a new HR-V purchase.
The 2021 HR-V will feature new wheel designs on all trims except the LX, and the HR-V Sport will have privacy glass added to its list of standard features. However, the Honda HR-V doesn’t differ in many major ways from the 2020 HR-V.
Built for City Use
Do you find that driving on crowded streets is more difficult in larger vehicles? The HR-V may be for you. After all, it was built on a platform that was designed to accommodate city dwellers. Drivers will be able to get in and out of compact parking spots with ease, and parking garages will never feel the same. Charlotte and surrounding area drivers may want to test drive a new HR-V to see if it’s right for them.
How much storage space is there?
The Honda HR-V offers a surprising amount of storage space, especially considering its subcompact classification. The second-row Magic Seat® can be configured into different cargo modes to give you the versatility you need. For example, your 40/40 split second-row Magic Seat® can fold the seats back for long cargo or up to suit taller cargo items! Test-drive a new Honda HR-V at Hendrick Honda in Charlotte today.
HR-V Fuel Economy
You may be wondering how many miles per gallon you’ll get with a new HR-V, and it depends on whether you choose the front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive. Front-wheel drive will garner about 28 miles per gallon* in the city and 34 miles per gallon* on the highway! Meanwhile, the all-wheel-drive LX gets about 27 mpg* in the city and 31 mpg* on the highway. If you’re choosing a different trim grade, however, you can expect about 26 mpg* city and 31 mpg* highway.
Altogether, the HR-V pulls the best from both SUVs and sedans to show you that incredible things can come in small packages.
